“Cops Wanted Their Own Flags To Feel Special, So I Made A Bunch More For Other Government Employees Who Don’t Shoot People”

Lately, when comedian Alex Falcone kept seeing the "Thin Blue Line" around, he kept thinking to himself it's really cute that the police wanted their own flag to make themselves feel special.

"The American flag didn't represent their one occupation well enough, so they cooked up their own little flag. How fun is that?" he told Bored Panda. "I thought since there are so many amazing government employees that do more for their communities, I want them to feel special too."

So Falcone made a bunch more flags for those "who don't shoot people" too, including street sweepers, teachers, and public defenders. Building on official symbols, his conceptual designs are a balance between tradition and innovation, and I definitely see them on mugs and caps! Continue scrolling. Check them out!
