Transgender communities around the world face a number of difficulties and obstacles. Besides the social and cultural pressures that some traditions impose upon them, there's also the internal struggle within the individuals themselves, let alone the transition period, be it surgical or otherwise.
However, the world has its ways of showing some positivity on the matter, thus restoring our faith in humanity. A musician by the name of Mel Stone posted a wholesome story on Twitter about how a takeout guy made her day by giving a compliment and being sensitive as to what name to use when referring to her.
