I’m sure you are familiar with the saying “revenge is a dish best served cold,” which implies that revenge is more satisfying when one has had time to prepare vengeance that is well-planned, long-feared, or unexpected.
This story lives up to this saying, while at the same time disproving it. Surely meatloaf tastes better hot and fresh out of the oven?
