Being a fulltime working mom doesn’t leave me much time to draw, but I do my best to draw while I am on the bus or train. It just really helps me to channel all of the crazy pregnancy, new mom and baby moments into these cartoons.
You might ask yourself why I don’t only draw the blonde character since that one resembles me. Well, I created those two fictional girls (Debi and Bebi) based on my friend and me. She is Pakistani and I am German.
I continue to always draw both because I want my daughter, who is half Pakistani, to grow up and see cartoons and characters that reflect her as well. Most of my stuff goes to my facebook page.
