The internet can provide a platform to connect us, educate us, and mobilize us. But it can also give people the opportunity to spread hateful views. Currently, there are 26 countries around the world that legally recognize same-sex marriage, and not everyone is happy about it.
All across Twitter, Facebook, and even in text messages to family members, people have taken it upon themselves to profess their homophobic views. Well, you can fight fire with fire or you can take another route.
