Mission accomplished, Trump boasted. Not so fast, Twitter replied.

Donald Trump can't catch a break, mostly because Donald Trump is extremely bad at being President of the United States.

Trump took to Twitter on Saturday morning with a triumphant message after U.S., French, and British precision strikes hit key targets in Syria on Friday evening. "A perfectly executed strike," he boasted, ending the message with an ill-conceived: "Mission accomplished!"

The words echoed those of a former president, George W. Bush, who declared "mission accomplished" in 2003 to mark the end of major combat operations in Iraq.
