The seven deadly sins is a classification of vices within Christian teachings that originated around 3rd century AD. To shed new light on the grouping, Ari Paul has tweeted its updated version, and it instantly went viral.
Throughout history, the vices have been discussed in treatises, and depicted in paintings and sculpture decorations on Catholic churches. Paul’s remake, however, uses social media sites to prove that the capital vices are ingrained into human nature. It seems we haven’t overcome our darkest desires just yet.
