Flying with screaming kids as seatmates is already annoying and stressful enough, but being in charge of those restless souls is a whole different story. A couple of weeks ago Jessica Rudeen shared her living nightmare of a situation on a flight when her two children, a 4-month-old son and a toddler daughter, started crying and screaming. “I honestly thought we’d get kicked off the plane,” Rudeen said. The moment her daughter started kicking and screaming how she wanted to get off the plane, a stranger approached them and offered a helping hand. Todd, a Kansas resident, not only helped Jessica calm down the children, but also kept the daughter, Caroline, busy and entertained throughout the flight. “By the end of the flight, he was Caroline’s best friend,” Rudeen explained.
